With a distinguished career spanning multiple facets of the music industry, Christopher Rapkin is a versatile and accomplished artist known for his innovative contributions across a wide array of genres. Having performed globally, he has immersed himself in diverse cultures and musical traditions, enriching his expansive artistic repertoire. Christopher’s discography includes five studio albums, each showcasing a unique genre, reflecting his broad musical range and adaptability.
 

Christopher’s extensive experience encompasses session work, live performances, composing, soundtrack editing, pre- and post-production, and consulting. He has made notable contributions to various film soundtracks, including War, Destiny, and Easy Rider II, to name just a few. In addition, he has composed and arranged the score for the musical Servantissimo, created the music for Harley-Davidson’s 100th Anniversary celebration, and crafted the intro and theme song for The Disappearing Chef, among other theme songs, album collaborations, and jingles. 

 

Christopher won the first Arizona Music Awards for best dual in 2002 and in 2024, won Best In Europe-Flamenco at the Intercontinental Music Awards. He also won three Bronze Medals at the Global Music Awards for Composer, Instrumentalist, and Sound Editing/Mixing.

A dedicated mentor in the GRAMMY U program, Christopher is deeply involved in nurturing the next generation of music professionals. As an active voting member of the Recording Academy and a professional member of ASCAP, NARIP, ISSA, and the IBMA, he remains at the forefront of the music industry’s developments. He is also ISNI certified and recognized as a certified artist across virtually all streaming platforms.
 

Holding a PhD in Music with a concentration in Acoustic Technology, Christopher is adept in the latest recording programs, including advanced A.I. platforms, recording software, and emerging coding applications. His expertise ensures he remains on the cutting edge of music production and technology.
