Christopher Rapkin is an internationally acclaimed recording artist, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose career has pushed the boundaries of musical creativity for decades. Equally at home behind the mixing console as he is on stage,
Christopher has built a reputation for fearless innovation, seamlessly crossing genres while maintaining a distinctive artistic voice. Having performed around the world, he has immersed himself in diverse cultures and musical traditions, experiences that have shaped a rich and unmistakable musical identity.
His remarkable discography spans seven studio albums, with each release exploring a different genre—from breathtaking flamenco and cinematic orchestral works to ambient soundscapes, rock, and electronic music—demonstrating an extraordinary versatility that few artists achieve.
Christopher's career encompasses virtually every aspect of professional music production, including session performance, live concerts, composition, soundtrack editing, engineering, production, mastering, post-production, and consulting.
His credits include contributions to the motion pictures War, Destiny, and Easy Rider II. He also composed and arranged the score for the musical Servantissimo, created the music for Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary celebration, and wrote the theme music for The Disappearing Chef, in addition to producing numerous themes, album collaborations, and commercial projects.
Christopher's work continues to earn international recognition. In 2026, he captured two Gold Medals at the European International Music Awards for Best Latin Flamenco Album Producer and Best Latin Flamenco Instrumental Album. He is also a two-time winner of Best in Europe – Flamenco at the Intercontinental Music Awards (2025 and 2026), earned two Silver Medals from the Global Music Awards for Outstanding Achievement – Best Instrumentalist and Best Flamenco Album, and has received seven Bronze Medals from the Global Music Awards recognizing excellence in composition, instrumental performance, and sound editing/mixing. His honors also include the Clouzine International Music Award for Best Flamenco Song, along with two World Entertainment Award nominations.
Beyond the studio and stage, Christopher is passionate about giving back to the music community. As a dedicated mentor in the GRAMMY U program, he helps inspire and guide emerging artists and industry professionals. He is an active Voting Member of the Recording Academy, a Professional Member of the Latin Recording Academy, and a member of ASCAP, NARIP, ISSA, and the IBMA. He is also ISNI certified and recognized as a verified artist across virtually every major streaming platform.
